Video Editor
What you’ll do:
- Edit a-roll for vlogs and commentary videos (for the first few videos, I’ll finish the final cut to prevent a thousand and three edits 🤭)
- Create engaging narratives and incorporate visual effects, graphics, and sound to enhance the overall production value of each video
- Ensure consistency in branding, style, and tone across all videos
- Share files & edits to meet agreed upon deadlines
- Keep up with the latest industry and creator trends
At a minimum, you…
- Have 2+ years of editing experience
- Use Final Cut Pro
- Understand and can adapt to my current editing style, and have ideas to take editing & storytelling to the next level
- Embody extreeeeme 👀 attention to detail and have high standards for quality
- Will kindly share your favorite emoji next to your first name when you fill out the form 😉
- Are a curious self-learner who has a growth & creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling
- Are able to work independently and efficiently manage your time and priorities
- Are a proactive communicator who is not afraid of asking questions or sharing roadblocks
It’s a plus if you are…
- Experienced in editing for other creators
- Skilled in graphic design 🎨
- Based in Los Angeles / Southern California
How we’ll work together:
- Part-time (to start) with flexible hours, approximately 10-15 hours per week
- Ability to work remotely with occasional meetings or check-ins as needed
- Paid per video project
